Unveil the Entire Journey of Nurturing Religious Teachers
法鼓山僧伽大學今年邁入創校第25年，特別以「法師與他們的產地」為主題，於法鼓山園區內推出特展。展覽以漫畫風格呈現，突破傳統宗教展覽的嚴肅框架，邀請大眾走入僧伽教育的核心世界，藉由互動遊戲、沉浸式體驗，深入認識現代宗教師的養成之路。
This year marks the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Dharma Drum Sangha University (DDSU). To celebrate the milestone, DDSU launched a special exhibition at the Dharma Drum Mountain campus entitled “Fashi and Their Origins.” The exhibition adopts a comic-style presentation, breaking away from the traditional solemn tone of religious displays. It invites the public to step into the core of Sangha education through interactive games and immersive experiences. This meant for the public to gain a deeper understanding of how modern Religious teachers are trained.

展覽主軸「一日僧大體驗──通關活動」，仿照僧大學僧日常作息，設計互動式關卡；「每位觀展人也是展覽的一部分」，觀展者透過互動體驗參與展覽，完成專屬自己的「觀展手冊」。活動時間軸從早坐拜佛、早課出坡、課堂學習、藥石晚課，到晚坐背誦等日常學習，每一環節皆展現僧大重視「解行並重」的教育理念──知識學習與身心實踐並行，培養具備弘化能力與奉獻精神的現代宗教師。
The main feature of the exhibition, “A Day at DDSU: Interactive Pass Challenge,” reflects a typical day in the life of monastic students through a series of hands-on checkpoints. Every visitor becomes “part of the exhibition”, engaging directly with the activities and completing their own personalized exhibition booklet. The timeline of the event follows the daily routine of DDSU students—from morning meditation and prostrations, morning chanting and work periods, classroom learning, evening meals and services, to evening meditation and recitation practice. Each stage vividly reflects DDSU’s educational philosophy of integrating study and practice, cultivating modern Religious teachers whom are capable to propagate the Dharma with the spirit of dedication.
展覽中的另一亮點為「僧大悟語」專區，以半立體書櫃搭配小冊形式，分享僧大師長們對宗教師養成的教育觀點，並說明僧伽大學「終身僧教育」的理念。透過這些文字與圖像，觀展者得以感受到修行不僅僅是內在的修持，更是一場持續一生的學習與奉獻。
Another highlight of the exhibition is the “Words of Wisdom from DDSU” section, designed as a semi-3D bookshelf paired with mini booklets. This section shares the educational insights of DDSU teachers on the cultivation of Religious teachers and explains the university’s concept of “lifelong monastics education.” Through these words and images, visitors can experience that spiritual practice is not only an inner cultivation, but also a lifelong journey of learning and dedication.
「2020~2025大事記」展架牆則記錄僧大近五年來的重要紀事，從因應疫情的創新招生方式、到國際交流、數位轉型等，在在呈現僧伽大學不斷與時俱進的努力。
The “DDSU Milestones: 2020–2025” exhibition wall documents the university’s key developments over the past five years—from innovative admissions strategies in response to the pandemic, to international exchanges and digital transformation—showcasing DDSU’s continual evolution and adaptability in modern times.
此次展覽，主展板及靜態展區展架皆以中英文雙語呈現，清楚介紹僧伽大學的創校理念、課程設計與教育宗旨，無論是國內外參訪遊客、佛教信仰者或對宗教教育有興趣的民眾，皆可深入了解這所培育法師的搖籃。
All main displays and exhibition panels are presented in both Chinese and English, providing clear introductions to the university’s founding vision, curriculum design, and educational mission. Whether visitors are international guests, Buddhist practitioners, or those simply interested in religious education, can gain a comprehensive understanding of this cradle for Religious teachers.
